Core drilling in Westbury from 10mm to over 600mm

Wet and dry methods. Horizontal, vertical and angled drilling. Fully insured operatives.

Accurate holes with less disruption

A broad range of sizes

Small fixings and major service openings can be planned with the correct core.

Minimal vibration

Non-percussive drilling protects more of the material around each opening.

Flexible drilling angles

We can drill vertically, horizontally or at an agreed angle for the route.

Clean circular openings through tough materials

When a pipe, duct, cable or fixing needs to pass through concrete, guessing with a breaker is a poor start. We use diamond core drilling to form accurate circular openings through concrete, reinforced concrete, brick and masonry in Westbury. The non-percussive method limits vibration and leaves a controlled edge around the opening. With core sizes from 10mm to more than 600mm, we can plan anything from small anchor points to substantial service penetrations. We can also extract samples or prepare holes for anchor installations where the project calls for it.

The right coring method for the surface

We choose wet or dry coring after checking the substrate, required finish and conditions around the drilling point. Hole diameter is only part of the job. Quantity, depth, reinforcement, working height and access all affect the setup and quote. Before we start, we need clear dimensions, drawings where available, known service positions and details of access to both faces. That preparation helps us position the rig correctly and manage water, slurry or dust without creating an avoidable mess.

Frequently asked questions

Can you drill through reinforced concrete?

Yes. We can core through reinforced concrete as well as standard concrete, brick and masonry. We need the depth, diameter and any available reinforcement information first, as steel affects the equipment, drilling time and setup.

Should my project use wet or dry core drilling?

We decide this from the material, finish and site conditions. Wet coring helps cool the bit and control dust, while dry methods may suit places where water use is restricted. We plan suitable dust or slurry controls for either method.

What details do you need for a core drilling quote?

Send us the hole diameter, depth, quantity and drilling position. Please include the substrate, working height, access route, known services and photographs or drawings. Access to the far side is also important where available.
