Protect the finish around each opening
Low-vibration drilling
Our non-percussive method limits shock to material around the penetration.
Angles set to suit
We can follow an agreed fall or alignment instead of drilling every hole level.
Both faces considered
We plan internal and external positions before committing to the route.
Precise openings for ducts, flues and services
Ventilation and air-conditioning equipment only fits neatly when the opening follows the specified route and diameter. We core circular holes through walls and slabs for ducts, sleeves, refrigerant services and suitable flues. Diamond drilling is non-percussive, so it creates far less vibration than hammering through the surface. That matters when the surrounding brick, masonry or concrete needs to stay intact. We coordinate the internal and external positions before drilling, helping the installer avoid an opening that clears one obstruction only to meet another on the far side.

Drilled to the required route and angle
Not every penetration should be level. We can plan angled coring where a duct or service needs a stated fall or a specific alignment. The opening diameter must account for the duct or sleeve, insulation and sealing detail. Wall thickness, working height and access to both faces then determine the rig position and controls. Send us the equipment specification or installer's dimensions where possible. With those details agreed, we can prepare the correct core rather than relying on a rough measurement at the last minute.
Frequently asked questions
Can ventilation holes be drilled at an angle?
Yes. We can set up angled coring where the installation needs a fall or defined alignment. We need the required angle, diameter, wall thickness and clear positions on both sides before confirming the method.
Will core drilling damage the surrounding brickwork?
Diamond core drilling is non-percussive, so it avoids the repeated hammer action used by some other methods. This helps limit vibration and produces a precise circular edge, although the substrate condition must still be assessed.
How do I specify an air-conditioning opening?
Ask the installer for the required core diameter and route. Send us the sleeve or duct size, insulation allowance, drilling angle, wall material, thickness, height and photographs of both sides of the proposed position.
